More About The Hill

I don't really live on a hill.  It's smaller than a hill.  And the ground is not flat here.

My house is actually built on a slope.

It's a bit of a hassle to walk up and down from one gate to another.  Especially when you weigh around 140lb! And smoke...

Those up-and-down trips spared me the cost of a gym's membership.  But I'm contemplating of extending my gym membership.  At least I'll have an excuse to get up and exercise.

I've got three neighbors. First neighbor on my left: the house is made of wood planks in a trashy way.  I guess that's our version of 'trailer park'.

Then there's those who live behind my house and on top of the hill.  They can actually see everything happening on my terrace from their balcony.  Their balcony is always occupied since they got nothing else to do but to talk crap and loud!  We don't get along.

On my right, there's a huge house where an old lady lives on her own. Her kids and grandkids come to visit her every week-end and any conversations they have I can hear.  But I don't pay attention and besides, I've never seen the old hag since I came here.

If I focus on the view I wouldn't mind the neighbors at all.  The view is, after all, SPECTACULAR!

[P.S:  Sorry I can't put up any pics because of the anonymity ish you know.]

About Me

My photo
I'm married to a workaholic. Tempers fly as often as pigs don't in my sweet home. It's always his fault.
In the beautiful words of Lorelle Van Fossen, "Your blog is what you say when there is nobody standing over your shoulder telling you what to do."
So that's it basically. Welcome to my online journal!
